I am proud to recommend Michelle Winters as a childminder. Michelle’s childcare provision is absolutely outstanding and is second to none. Michelle cared for our 20-month old daughter for six months. She provided a fun, safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for her through which she grew and developed far beyond our expectations.
Michelle went above and beyond each and every day. Taking our daughter to playgroups and classes, organising art and baking activities and providing educational but fun pastimes. Our daughter would come home singing and telling stories from all the fun things she had been doing and couldn’t wait to get to Michelle’s house each morning. I truly felt that Michelle had our daughter’s best interests at heart at all times, and I was never nervous to leave her in her care (despite never leaving her with a childminder before). Michelle has a lovely personality that just puts everyone at ease. I would never trust anyone but Michelle to care for any of my children and wouldn’t hesitate to contact her in the future for our childcare needs.

Michelle was the Childminder for my 3 year old daughter. I felt very happy with the way Michelle cared for and supported my little girl who has additional needs. She identified the areas that my little girl struggled with and adapted the care she gave to support her, treating her as an individual and giving her the encouragement to explore and develop in a safe, nurturing environment.
The toys and equipment were always age appropriate and educational as well as being fun and interesting and activities were tailored to my little girls need for sensory stimulation. Michelle displayed fantastic communication skills, keeping me and my husband updated at every point and supporting us when we needed it.
She also welcomed support from speech and language therapists and adhered to the recommendations that they made for my daughter. When my little girl left her care Michelle made a fantastic scrap book for us full of photographs and diaries to keep which shows how much attention to detail she has and how much she cares about the children she looks after, which was massively important to me.
Meals provided were always nutritional and she took the time to find out what my little girl liked to eat. Michelle is warm and welcoming and my little girl loved the time she spent in her care.
